Buyers do not buy features. They buy what features do for them. The gap between those two sentences is where most listings lose the sale.
"350ml capacity" is a feature. "Keeps your coffee hot through a whole morning of work" is a benefit. Every feature you list should be translated once: what does the buyer feel, save, or avoid because of it? Do that translation for every bullet and your listing starts selling instead of just describing.
On both marketplaces, the title and the first line of the description carry the search ranking and the first impression. Put the main keyword and the main benefit there. "Handmade ceramic mug" is a label; "Handmade ceramic mug that keeps coffee hot for 2 hours" is a reason to click.
Almost nobody reads a listing top to bottom. They scan bullets, look at photos, and check the price. One benefit per bullet, short sentences, no paragraphs hiding inside bullets. If a bullet needs a comma and an "and" and another comma, split it.
Size, material, care instructions, shipping time, what is in the box. Every unanswered question is a reason to leave the page — and a message you will have to answer later anyway. Put the answers in the listing once instead of in fifty messages.
Who is this NOT for? One honest line — "Not microwave safe" or "Best for desks, not for travel" — filters out bad-fit buyers, prevents returns, and makes the rest of the listing more believable. Honesty in one line buys trust for every other line.
Similar structure is fine; copied text is not. Marketplaces remove copied listings, and buyers who have seen the original will not trust the copy. Write from your own features, in your own words, and the listing stays yours.
Description writing is a service sellers pay for weekly, because every new product needs one. It is also the skill that raises your own shop's sales without lowering prices — better copy is often worth more than a discount. A premium description bundle is planned for the store; the free generator already does the full job for one listing at a time.
